Today is the birthday of Super Mom MC Mary Kom of Indian Women’s Boxing. Mary, who holds the most significant record in women’s boxing, is 38 years old today. Kom born on 1 March 1983 in Kangthei, Manipur is named Mangte Changneijang Mary Kom. She was born in the farmer’s house, tied the knot with Karung Oankholar in 2005. It was only in 2005 that Mary gave birth to twins.
Mary Kom Received Medals and Honours
Mary awarded the Arjuna Award in the year 2003, and three years later in 2006, she awarded the Padma Shri. In the year 2009, he gave the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award, the most significant sports honour.

She also won a gold medal in the Asian Women’s Championship in 2005 and the next year in the Women’s Box Cup. Mary Kom became the first woman boxer in India to win a medal at the 2012 Olympics.
