Team India practised in front of a packed stand at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on Saturday, on the eve of the second T20I between India and South Africa. A part of the stadium was opened to the crowd, and fans thronged to watch their favourite cricketers practice. The players who practised included cricketers like India captain Rishabh Pant, Jammu and Kashmir fast bowler Umran Malik, and vice-captain Hardik Pandya in the absence of KL Rahul.
The audience encouraged the players.
The crowd erupted in joy when Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya hit big shots on the practice wickets during power-hitting training. Acknowledging the massive crowd at the venue, the BCCI tweeted that even a non-matchday feels like a match day. A packed stadium in Cuttack. A few minutes later, the BCCI shared another video in which the heart will be happy to see the crowd’s roar.
There were spectators in the stadium.
This is not the first time this has happened at Barabati Stadium. This happens almost every time India plays at this stadium in Cuttack. After a seven-wicket loss to South Africa in the first T20I match of the five-match series at home, Team India will try their best to level the series when they take on South Africa in the second T20I in Cuttack.

David Miller and Doosan won.
South Africa, on the other hand, will look to continue their good run in India. After not losing a T20I series in India against the Men in Blue, the Proteas will look to add another series win to their achievements. In the first clash, South Africa lost wickets at regular intervals chasing 212 runs. At one point, the team was at 81/3 when Miller and Van der Dussen came to the rescue. Both won the match.
