South Africa tour of India 2022: The South African team has reached India for a series of 5 T20 matches. The first match of the series (India vs South Africa T20) will be played on June 9 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The Indian team will also reach Delhi on June 5 for the first match of the series. Before the series, Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal appeared in a new look. The pictures of his look are going viral on social media.
Chahal’s performance in IPL
In the recently concluded 15th season of IPL, Yuzvendra Chahal won the Purple Cap by performing brilliantly. He took 27 wickets in 17 matches for Rajasthan Royals at an average of 19.51. 40/5 was his best performance this season. Wanindu Hasaranga was second with 26 wickets, and Kagiso Rabada (23 wickets) was at number three in the list of highest wicket-takers this season. Chahal also took his only hat-trick of the 15th season.
