Maxwell’s inclusion in the auction is quite surprising as he has taken a break from international cricket due to the mental health issue. Maxwell has played in three teams in the IPL so far. He did not participate in the auction for IPL 2019 due to ICC One Day World Cup and Ashes. Speaking of bidding on Indian players in the auction, Robin Uthappa is the most expensive. His base price by the IPL is 1.5 crore rupees (about 209,000 US dollars).

At the same time, the IPL has reduced the height of Jaydev Unadkat this time. The base price of Unadkat, which was sold for Rs 8.40 crore in the previous season, has been kept at Rs 1 crore (about the US $ 139,000), compared to the previous price of Rs 1.5 crore.

The IPL is being auctioned in Kolkata for the first time. The first batsmen will bid. After this, the number of all-rounders, wicketkeeper batsmen, fast bowlers and then spinners will come. If this slot is completed even if the slots remain then first capped and then uncapped players will be bid.
