However, the Maharashtra government has made it clear that spectators will not be allowed to go to the ground during the match.

IPL 2021 Matches in Mumbai

Nawab Malik, a minister in the Maharashtra government, clarified the holding of IPL matches. He said, “The IPL event has been approved. But the matches will be organised with numerical rules. The spectators will not be allowed to go to the stadium. The players and the rest of the staff will have to be isolated in the bio bubble.

The BCCI also demanded vaccine for the players. Nawab Malik said, “The BCCI wanted all the players to get vaccinated.” But this could not happen due to ICMR guidelines. At present, we cannot apply vaccine to people below 45 years of age. ”

There will be no change in the program.

Let me tell you that for the last few days, there are record cases of the coronavirus in Maharashtra every day. With the state’s return of lockdown, there was a question mark over the matches to be held in Mumbai. There were speculations that matches could be held in Hyderabad instead of Mumbai.

However, the BCCI had already made it clear that there will be no change in the matches to be held in Mumbai. IPL matches are scheduled to be held in Mumbai from April 10 to April 24. The 14th season of the IPL will begin on April 9.
