IPL 2021 Suspended: It has been decided to suspend the IPL 2021 amidst the growing threat of the Coronavirus. Corona cases have been reported in several teams of IPL for the last few days, after which the BCCI has taken this decision. This decision was taken after the players, and members of the team were consistently positive.

During Corona’s transition period, the BCCI cited a strong ‘bio-bubble’, after which only 29 matches could be successfully conducted. All matches of Chennai and Mumbai stages were completed in Chennai and Mumbai stages. But the 30th match of the season could not be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
There was already concern about the Mumbai-Sunrisers match today, as Mumbai Indians played against CSK on Saturday. Balaji came in contact with many of his players during the match. And now the news of Sunrisers being found Wriddhiman Sah Corona positive. KKR’s Varun Chakraborty and Sandeep Warrier were previously found to be positive. There is also a report that Amit Mishra of Delhi Capitals is also positive.
Questions are being raised on the organisation of IPL 2021 in the Corona era. Three players from Australia have withdrawn from IPL-14. It stars Adam Jampa, Ken Richardson and Andrew Tye. Zampa told bio-bubble the reason for leaving IPL-14. He said that going to the bio-bubble in India does not feel as safe as it used to be during the IPL 2020 in the UAE. However, later he was overturned by his statement.
