Earlier, reports were that this biopic would be produced by the country’s prominent director and producer Karan Johar’s production house Dharma Productions. Still, he has pulled out of this biopic. The reason for this that has come to the fore is also quite surprising.

According to Bollywood Hungama, there have been many ups and downs in the life of Yuvraj Singh. After all the success in cricket, he made a comeback after defeating a disease like cancer. In such a situation, if many production houses had shown interest in making his biopic.

Although Dharma Productions was at the forefront of this matter, he had several meetings with Yuvraj Singh’s team. However, even after all things were settled, this deal could not be done because Yuvraj Singh wanted an A-list star in his biopic.

Yuvraj Singh wanted Ranbir or Hrithik to act.

Karan Johar had decided to give the lead role to youth sensation Siddharth Chaturvedi in this biopic. Siddharth came into the limelight after the film ‘Gully Boy’. However, Karan had made it clear that he would choose the lead according to the story. He feels that Yuvraj Singh is a massive star, and whoever plays him will be on a big scale.
