Indian star PV Sindhu was defeated in the quarterfinals of Malaysia Masters on Friday by Tai Ju Ying of Chinese Taipei in just 36 minutes to advance to the semi-finals. Sindhu saw struggling in this match but failed to overcome Tai Tzu. In both sets, Sindhu gave a tough fight to the Chinese Taipei player but ultimately failed to take the lead.

If Sindhu lost 21-16 in the first set, the Indian fans hoped that she would return in the second game. The result of the second game was also the same as before. And by a margin of 21-16, Tai Ju won the semi-finals. On Thursday, Sindhu showed a brilliant game and won against Aya Ohori of Japan in just 34 minutes. Sindhu won this match by 21-10 and 21-15.

After Sindhu’s defeat in the first match, all hopes for India came from Olympic medalist Saina Nehwal but Saina also suffered a bad defeat from Sindhu. In the semi-finals, Caroline Marin of Spain won almost unilaterally.
