Team India’s star batsman Rohit Sharma is out of the ODI and Test series against New Zealand. Due to injury to the calf, Rohit will no longer be part of Team India in the 3-match ODI series and the 2-match Test series against New Zealand. Both Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan selected for the New Zealand series earlier. Before Rohit, Shikhar Dhawan dropped from the T20 and ODI series. Now the exit combination of Rohit has affected the opening combination of Team India. Prithvi Shaw included as a replacement for Shikhar Dhawan for the ODI series.
With Rohit Sharma out of the Test series, the crisis has deepened on Team India. The Indian team has not yet announced for the Test series. No official statement has yet come about who will select in Rohit’s place in the Test series. After Rohit’s exit from the Test series, now Lokesh Rahul can be chosen in his place.
