Shahid Afridi also spoke on Rohit Sharma, the new captain of the Indian T20 team. They said,
“I have played with Rohit for a year, and I know he is an amazing player with great understanding. His biggest strength is that he can be aggressive when needed and he can do his work even when he is calm”.
He also said on Rohit’s captaincy that.
“He is a top-class player with excellent shot selection. He also has the mindset to be a good leader of the players”.
Rohit Sharma will captain the Indian team in the T20 series starting from November 17. After the departure of the captain-coach duo of Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri, all eyes are on the pairing of Rohit and Dravid.
