Aanchal Gangwal Becomes Fighter Pilot

Aanchal Gangwal, a 26-year-old daughter of a small tea stall in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh, has become a fighter aircraft pilot in the Air Force. Anchal honour at the initiation ceremony held in Hyderabad. Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria dedicated Aanchal and other trainees to the country service. This achievement of the daughter brings happiness to the family members, including her father.

At Neemuch’s bus stand, Anchal’s father Suresh Gangwal runs a small tea shop. Aanchal was successful in the Air Force Common Admission Test in the year 2018. In June 2018, she left for Hyderabad for a training fighter pilot. The father flees the daughter’s dreams despite running a tea shop. Apart from his father, mother Babita, brother Chandresh (electrical engineer in Indore) and sister Divyani (volleyball player) are in Anchal’s family. The Gangwal family is originally from Tarapur-Ummedpura village in Javad development block in Neemuch district.

Inspired By The 2013 Event

Aanchal inspired to join the Air Force through a 2013 incident. Aanchal said that in 2013 there was a devastating flood in Uttarakhand. During this time, the Indian Air Force carried out the rescue operation well. Seeing this work on TV inspired him to join the Air Force. At that time, Anchal was studying in class 12.

Aanchal Gangwal Success Rate Success

April 2017: Selected as Sub-Inspector in the Police Department. After Dhar, Sagar went on training. Resigned from this post in August 2017.

August 2017: Anchal selected as Labor Inspector. She was posted as a labour inspector in Mandsaur for several months.

June 2018 to June 2020: Success in the Air Force Common Admission Test. She was the only woman from MP to be selected.

Training started at Hyderabad Air Force Academy from 30 June 2018. On 20 June 2020, the initiation parade took place after practice.
