Apple Included India In iPhone Launch: Leading tech giant Apple has simultaneously launched its popular iPhone 13 series in India for the first time and the global launch. One thing that is clear from this is that the company is now strengthening its hold in the Indian market. This time the company has carried out its different marketing strategy.
Earlier it used to take at least two-three weeks for iPhones to reach the Indian market. However, this time users in India with more than 30 countries will pre-order the new iPhone from September 17. At the same time, shipping will be started on September 24.

Prabhuram, CyberMedia Research (CMR) Head, Industry Intelligence Group, told IANS that Apple had taken this step to prioritise the availability of the iPhone 13 series in India. Along with the US and other markets, it helps focus on its recent development momentum, including current market initiatives to ramp up iPhone assembly in India and its aggressive marketing initiatives.

The new iPhone series includes iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max. Apple has kept the starting price of iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini at Rs 79,900 and Rs 69,900, respectively, the same as last year. The cost of the iPhone 13 Pro is Rs 1,19,900, and the price of the iPhone 13 Pro Max is Rs 1,29,900. Also, for the first time, both the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max with up to 1TB of storage will be available for Rs 1,69,900 and Rs 1,79,900, respectively.
Prabhuram emphasised, as compared to other smartphone OEMs, Apple is probably in a better position to manage its supply chain, which will take it to a better level during the all-important festive season.
What’s unique in the iPhone 13 series
The new iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini include a smaller notch with a more prominent display. The notch is 20 per cent smaller, and the new Super Retina XDR display is 28 per cent brighter with 1200 nits peak brightness. The iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max feature a brand new Super Retina XDR display with an adaptive refresh rate promotion of up to 120Hz. They both come in the same size as the iPhone 12 at 6.1 and 6.7 inches, respectively.
The tech giant has also launched two new iPads – iPad and iPad mini, and along with it, it has also announced the new Apple Watch Series 7 at its global event late Tuesday night. Both the new iPad and iPad mini come with 64GB and 256GB storage options.
