What is Lockdown Mode?
Lockdown Mode can soon be available on Apple’s iPhone, iPad and Mac. As soon as this feature is turned on, most of the attachments coming to the messaging apps of the iPhone will be blocked. Security research firms believe that NSO Group discovered a flaw in Apple’s handling of message attachments.
Wired connections will also be blocked in the new mode. Apple says the new feature has been designed to prevent zero-click hacking attacks. Such attacks are very few, and many users will not need to activate the new mode.
Why is spyware used?
