Tesla CEO Elon Musk has been in constant discussion for the past few days. He has been in the news for one reason since Twitter bought a stake earlier this month. Today, i.e. on 23 April, he has trolled Microsoft’s co-founder Bill Gates. He has targeted Bill Gates by continuously tweeting. Musk recently accused the Microsoft co-founder of shorting Tesla shares.
What are Elon Musk and Bill Gates feud?
In a tweet on Friday, the Tesla CEO admitted that he had asked Gates if he was short-selling his company’s shares. When an investor shorts a stock, he bets on falling asset value.
Musk said in his tweet, ‘I heard from many people at TED that Gates still has half a billion Tesla shorts, which I asked him about, so it is not a top-secret.’

Troll on Twitter
Elon had another tweet in which he wrote that The Barbarians are at the Gate. Many meanings are being given to it. Some people believe that he is targeting both Twitter and Bill Gates through this tweet. Whatever the reason for Musk is doing this, people have not liked his style. People also see this tweet of the Tesla CEO associating it with body shaming.

Elon Musk has also recently given a bid to buy Twitter. However, the company is looking for ways to avoid this. Musk bought Twitter’s 9.2% stake earlier this month, after which he became the company’s largest stakeholder. Although he is not the most significant stakeholder in the company, he has offered to buy Twitter.
