Google Chrome Features: Google Chrome is one of the most popular browsers globally. Google has introduced three new features for its users. Features include an improved way of sending links, tab search, and the ability to select a unique background and colour.
Users can highlight a particular page part for the receiver before sharing the link with the new link sharing feature. This will send them to the highlighted part of the page instead of the top. Here’s how to do it.
How to do link share
- First of all, highlight the text that you want to share.
- Now right, click and click on the Select copy link to highlight.
- Now paste this link where you want to share like email, message, WhatsApp etc.
The second feature introduced in the Google Chrome browser is Tab Search. It is sometimes difficult to find a particular account with multiple tabs open. Now, Chrome users can search a tab using this feature. To do this, click on the tab search icon at the top of your Chrome window and enter a keyword for the tab you want to search.
Users can also select background and colour for Chrome. If one uses multiple Chrome profiles, he can also have a different background for each. To change the background and colour of Chrome, open a new tab and click on Customize Chrome at the bottom right side.

Meanwhile, Google is reportedly making it easier for users to mute audio from a specific tab. According to a report, new builds of Chrome may come with a flag called “Tab Audio Muting UI Control”. Once enabled, the banner will enable a feature that will allow you to mute audio playing in any app with a single click. When audio is playing, a sound indicator appears on the browser tab. Reports suggest that the new feature will use the indicator as a button to mute the audio.
