If you are a Visa or Mastercard user, you will need to authorize to save card details in the new format. For this, you have to make a single manual payment along with your existing card details. To avoid re-entering your card details later, the payment must be completed before December 31, 2021.
Google New Rule On Storing Card Info
If you are a RuPay, American Express, Discover or Diners Card user, your card details will not be saved by Google after December 31, 2021. These cards do not accept the new format. In such a situation, from January 1, 2022, you will have to enter the card details for every manual payment.
Google’s rule will change from January 1
To make sensitive information safe from the Reserve Bank of India, it has been instructed not to save card details. In such a situation, from January 1, 2022, Google will not save card details like card numbers and the expiry date of customers.
Have to remember card details
Till now, Google has been saving your card details. When the customer used to make a payment, he only had to enter his CVV number in such a situation. After January 1, customers will have to remember the expiry date and the card number to make manual payments online.
