The Government of India is preparing to tie up between India Post Payments Bank and WhatsApp. With this, many banking and financial services will be available. According to a report, the government wants to give better service to the customers through this.

With this, customers will not need to go to the branch for essential work. The report has cited people who are aware of this partnership. With this, users will get the option of checking account balances to open a new bank account.
India Post Payment Bank was launched in the year 2018. This is a public limited company in which the central government has a 100% stake. It was set up like a payment bank under the Department of Posts.
It has been told in the report that the pilot project will be run for 60 days. This includes IPPB services like checking balance, opening a new account, and checking PIN or password. It has also been said in the report that the selected customers will get more service in this.
This service includes Cash Withdraw and Deposits, Aadhar to Aadhar Transfer, Updation of PAN Number and Manage Aadhar Number and Account Beneficiary. India Post Payments Bank customers can access the online service or digital banking through the IPPB website or mobile app.
