Jio Down: Problems in Reliance Jio Network, Millions of Users Worried

JioDown is trending on Twitter today, just a day after the WhatsApp offline and Facebook outage for nearly seven hours late Monday night. There are around 4,000 reports of problems with Jio connections on the internet outage tracker DownDetector which is increasing exponentially. Looking at the data from DownDetector, complaints started pouring in around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday and peaked in about an hour.

There has been a sharp increase in reported complaints with Jio, which indicates that there may be a more significant issue with connectivity, as almost half the reports say there is no connectivity. According to the word of Downdetector, the problem is widespread around Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Indore and Raipur. Although Jio has not issued any statement on this yet, the company’s Twitter handle has replied to the users saying there is a connectivity problem.

The same can be seen on Twitter that today the hashtag JioDown is trending. Many users know this connectivity problem of Jio by associating it with Facebook. Jio tweeted that it is not a problem of the Internet. So far, Jio’s corporate handle has not posted about this, although the JioCares handle responds to the customers.

The coming problem in calling

Neither users, because of complaints coming into the network of Reliance Jio, have been able to call, nor are they able to receive a call. Apart from this, users are also facing problems in using the Internet. At the same time, no statement or information has come to the fore from the company.

trending As soon as Jio’s network went down, #jiodown started trending on microblogging site Twitter. Users on this platform are expressing their displeasure about Jio’s network. Users say that “for many hours neither can make any call nor any message, there are many problems.”

recently when it was Facebook, WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram down, Reliance Jio ridiculed it on Twitter. It was written on behalf of the company, “This is not an internet problem; please stop refreshing your chats.” After which now users are trolling Jio by sharing this tweet.
