Reliance Jio is preparing to launch its video calling app Jio Meet soon. This app will begin to challenge video calling apps like Zoom, Google Meet, Hangout, Duo. Let me tell you that in the past, Facebook has partnered with Reliance Jio. One of the reasons behind bringing Meet video calling app can also be that the use of video calling has increased due to the Coronavirus lockdown in the country at this time. Due to increased use of video calling, video calling apps like Zoom can get challenged with Jio Meet.

Like other video calling apps, Jio Meet can also make available for download on Android, iOS and Web platforms. The JioMeet.com web page has made alive by the company. However, no official information has revealed when the Jio Meet will launch commercially. Through this app, users will be able to enjoy HD video calling. Through this app, video calls can be made to 5 people simultaneously.

Last month itself, the Home Ministry did not consider the Zoom video calling app to be a secure platform. Important guidelines issued to the users to use this app. After this, Zoom has rolled out security updates to make the app safe.
