Where will 6G be used?

Jio says that this partnership will give a significant boost to 3D connected intelligence in the industry and academia in aerial and space communication, cyber security, holographic beamforming, microelectronics and photonics. Jio and the University of Oulu will prepare products with the 6G feature.

More data usage options

Regarding this partnership, the company says that the new 6G technology is an advanced technology of 5G itself, which will take digitalization to a new level. Under this, high capacity data services like call free memo and the intelligent surface can be found through terahertz frequency. On the other hand, when both 5G and 6G services are available, users and businesses will have more extensive options for data usage.

100 times faster than 5G

Jio will bring 6G to be used in defence and industrial machinery, and it will provide faster speed and better connectivity. According to the reports, the rate of 6G will be 100 times faster than 5G. Samsung has estimated the pace of its following generation network to be 1000Gbps.
