Not only this, but Android users will also get a new update of the app. Apple Music Spatial Audio and Lossless Streaming were announced at WWDC. The feature was rolled out only for iOS users during that time, but now it has been rolled out for everyone.
Run Apple Apps on Android
Apple Music Lossless and Spatial Audio were rolled out for Indian users in July. Announcing the new Spatial Audio, Lossless Streaming features at WWDC, Apple said it would give users a great audio experience and give them multi-dimensional sound and clarity.
Apple Music subscribers also get free access to 75 million songs here in lossless audio. This update is available to Apple Music subscribers at no additional cost. With the help of lossless audio, you can listen to songs of high quality. This also means that users will listen to the same audio that the artist has created in the studio.
Spatial audio will be made available on Android devices, and Dolby Atmos will support them. If Atmos is not supported in your Android smartphone, then Spatial Audio will not work on your device. This feature works with all headphones, but for this, you have to enable Spatial Audio. The Verge has reported that the Dolby Atmos option is not available in Pixel 4a 5G. Spatial audio will not work in Ace.
If we talk about lossless audio, Apple has said that it has used ALAC, i.e. Apple Lossless Audio Codec, to save everything in the original file correctly. For this, users will have to click on Settings – Music – Audio Quality and then on Lossless Audio. Users can choose different resolutions here on cellular WiFi.
