Shortly before that, Samsung launched a new smartphone Galaxy M10s under its ‘Galaxy M’ series, hit the low budget. Check Samsung Galaxy M10s Review.
Samsung Galaxy M10s Review
This smartphone is just 8, It was launch for at Rs 999 which is available for sale in the market. If you go to buy a smartphone in this budget range, then a long list comes out. How much better is the Samsung Galaxy M10s present in this list and is it a good deal to take this entry-level smartphone? To find the answer to all these questions, we also took the Samsung Galaxy M10s and used it for a week. We are going to tell you in the following review what our experience was during one week’s use.
‘First Impression is the Last Impression’ applies not just to humans but also to smartphones. The look of the phone first affects a user. In the case of Samsung Galaxy M10s, we will say that the first impression of this phone is excellent. This cheap phone from Samsung also outpaces expensive smartphones from its budget in terms of look. In comparison to Xiaomi and Realme present in this budget, we have felt the Galaxy M10s be of very premium quality. The front and back panels of the phone are glossy and shiny and its sideways give a very slick feeling when holding the phone.
The Samsung Galaxy M10s has launched on the Bezel-less notch display, which has a ‘V’ shaped notch on the top of the screen. While the three sides of the display are completely bezel laces, there is a little body part at the bottom. A dual rear camera setup has been given on the top left side on the back panel of the phone, which is located in the vertical shape. The flashlight is present just below this camera setup. The fingerprint sensor has given on the rear panel itself. The bottom panel of the phone has USB type C port in the middle, speaker on the right and 3.5mm jack on the left side. Similarly, the volume rocker and power button have been provided on the right panel of the Galaxy M10s and the SIM slot on the left panel.
Samsung Galaxy M10s Review has launched by the company in Opal Black and Sapphire Blue color. A little shortcoming in design is the placement of the fingerprint sensor. The fingerprint sensor on the rear panel is located slightly upwards, causing some problems in its use. In our opinion, the fingerprint sensor should have been located slightly further down. So that it could easily be used in the hands of every size. At the same time, the company does not provide any kind of cover with the box of Samsung Galaxy M10s, but due to the phone being slick and sleeper, the back cover is necessary. There is a fear of slipping from the palm of the phone.
The Samsung Galaxy M10s Review has launched on a 6.2-inch HD + Super AMOLED Infinity ‘V’ display that supports 720 x 1560 pixels resolution. The display of the phone is round corner and is fully blended from the side and upper side. There is no doubt that the display of the Galaxy M10s being super AMOLED gives very good visual quality. The screen contrast and brightness are amazing and the colors that come on the display are brilliantly sharp.
Whether online video or game, the display of Samsung Galaxy M10s gives a great experience. Brightness can use easily both indoor and outdoor. During the use, we found a slight flaw in the auto-brightness of the Samsung Galaxy M10s. This lighting was taking a little time to judge the condition, in such a situation. The brightness of the phone manually had to reduce more and more instead of auto change. However, we are not seeing this as a display but a flaw in the user interface present in the phone.
Samsung Galaxy M10s supports a dual rear camera. On the back panel of the phone, a 13-megapixel primary camera with F / 1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary camera with F / 2.2 aperture is provided with the flashlight. Similarly, the F / 2.0 aperture 8-megapixel selfie camera is fitted in the notch on the front panel for a selfie. The Galaxy M10s is capable of recording FullHD Plus quality video with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution from both front and back sensors. At the same time, both camera sensors of the phone work with beauty mode filters.
Talking about camera results, the Samsung Galaxy M10s rear camera was right for us. It is not very good but looking at the budget, it cannot be called bad either. Talking about the rear camera, there is normal mode, wide-angle mode, live focus, and pro mode. We liked the wide-angle mode. It provides a much wider view in which the background, as well as the background, can be captured well. The color and brightness in the camera are average. Yes, the text written behind the object in the rear camera is not visible. At the same time, the photo captured at night captures bright colors but it is pixelated when the photo is zoomed.
The result of the selfie camera will also call average. The front camera also supports wide-angle but its wide capability is not very high. We lacked sharpness in selfies. The colors also faded slightly. The low light selfie was also a little pixelated. But the filters present in the front camera have the ability to enhance the look of the photo. But according to the budget you will expect, this phone fulfills those expectations.
Samsung Galaxy M10s has launched on 3 GB RAM memory which supports 32 GB of internal storage. This phone has Samsung’s Exynos 7884B chipset with an octa-core processor with 1.6 GHz + 1.35 GHz clock speed. The Galaxy M10s is an Android 9.0 Pie-based smartphone that works with one. The processing was fine during use, but we had some complaints from the user interface. There was some problem in using the phone’s start-up and navigation bar with gestures. However, the navigation bar can change to a button. At the same time, the UI of the phone proved to be a little loose in understanding auto-brightness.
Speaking of processing, the work of Samsung Galaxy M10s in the low budget segment is satisfactory. During use, this phone was not hanged unnecessarily, nor any hitting problem occurred while playing the game. The result was lag-free during processing. We played the Call of Duty game in this phone and processing has been the same all the time. However, during gaming, the graphics were slightly less for good viewer experience. The display of the phone is good but if the pixels were a little sharper, it would have said to be better.
Samsung Galaxy M10s has launched by the company with a large battery of 4,000 mAh, which supports 15 W fast charging. The good thing is that the company is giving the 15-watt charger along with the box itself. This phone is charged with USB type C port. Due to fast charging support, Galaxy M10s were able to charge from 1 to 60 percent in just 1 hour.
Talking about the battery consumption, the battery of the Galaxy M10s came to 15 percent after about 25 hours during the average usage after charging 98 percent. Similarly, it took 2 hours for the phone’s battery to come from 15 percent to 10 percent and the battery removed 105 minutes comfortably from 10 percent to 5 percent. Despite the continuous use, Galaxy M10s took an hour and a half to get the phone’s battery from 5 percent to 1 percent. Let us know that during the charging of the phone and during use on low battery, we did not see the problem of hitting.
Samsung Galaxy M10s are being sold by the company at a price of just Rs 7,999. It can be said about the Galaxy M10s that this phone is the best looking phone among smartphones in this budget. The design and look of the phone are very good, which makes it expensive than the price of the phone. We liked the display quality of the Galaxy M10s and its battery backup is also excellent. Samsung is also providing a 15-watt charger in the box which will be called plus point. The processing of the Galaxy M10s has proved to be good and camera quality mediocre. If a person wants to buy a smartphone for less than Rs 8,000, then Samsung Galaxy M10s can be advised.
