Jio can also increase money.

Vodafone Idea has also given the reason for this increase in prices. The company says that with this increase the services will be better. Along with this, it will also help deal with the financial pressure that the telecom industry is facing.

The company issued a statement saying,

Understanding the importance of the Government’s Digital India vision, we are committed to promoting it. Keeping in mind the commitment to provide seamless and convenient products to the customers, Vodafone Idea has designed the best range of sound plans for both voice and data.

Meanwhile, there are reports that Reliance Jio may soon increase the prices of prepaid tariff plans. Earlier in December 2019, there was such an increase. Jio also cites the financial crisis and lack of cash flow in the industry to increase the prices.

On the other hand, Airtel had also put forward some similar reasons for increasing the prices. The company had said that raising rates was necessary for a good and healthy business model.
