WhatsApp is one of the most-used instant-messaging applications in the world. The app currently has more than two billion users worldwide. Meta-Proprietary App updates itself from time to time. As part of Global, Android stops supporting older versions of the iOS operating system and older smartphone models.

The app will reportedly stop working on around 50 iPhone and Android smartphones in 2022. This list includes iPhone 6S, iPhone SE, Samsung Galaxy phone, Sony Xperia M, HTC Desire 500, LG Optimus F7 and many other models. This will affect millions of WhatsApp users.

WhatsApp will not work on 50 smartphones.

WhatsApp will soon end support on phones running Android 4.1 and below. The app will also not work on iPhones running iOS 9 or lower. However, the date has not been given yet. According to a report shared by SproutWord, WhatsApp will stop supporting many older phones in Brazil, which have more than 100 million WhatsApp users. However, the report did not mention whether it would apply to any other country in the world, including India. WhatsApp Support for Indians has also not released any information about this yet.
