Xiaomi has expanded its ‘Redmi Note’ series in the Indian market today after a long wait. Increasing its product portfolio in the country, Xiaomi has launched Redmi Note 8 Pro in the Indian market. This phone is the first Redmi phone launched in India that supports a 64-megapixel camera sensor. Along with the Redmi Note 8 Pro Review, Xiaomi has also launched the Redmi Note 8 model and both these phones will be available for sale from October 21 on the company website as well as shopping site Amazon India.

Redmi Note 8 Pro has launched in India in three variants. The phone’s 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant costs Rs 14,999, the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant costs Rs 15,999 and the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant costs Rs 17,999. Redmi Note 8 Pro has launched in gamma green, hollow white and shadow black color.

Talking about Redmi Note 8, the 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant of the phone has launched at a price of Rs 9,999 and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant at a price of Rs 12,999. Redmi Note 8 can be purchased in Space Black, Neptune Purple, Cosmic Purple, and Moonlight White Color.

Design & Display

The Redmi Note 8 Pro is built on the Waterdrop Notch design, which has a screen-to-body ratio of 91.4 percent. This phone supports 6.53-inch FullHD + display with 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution. The rear camera setup on the back panel of the phone is present in the vertical shape in the middle. While the three camera sensors and the fingerprint sensor are in the same line, the flashlight and macro sensor are present on the right side of this setup. At the same time, both front and back panels of Redmi Note 8 Pro have protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 to protect the phone.

64 MP Camera

Redmi Note 8 Pro has a 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 sensor. The GW1 sensor uses a pixel-to-pixel barrier using ISOCELL technology that improves color reproduction by reducing the light between pixels. This 64-megapixel sensor (9248 × 6936) provides a pixel resolution photo output. Not only this, but slow-motion video can also be shot at 480-frames per second speed with this sensor.
