Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has made a record by selling more than 2 crore smartphones of its Redmi Note 7 series globally. Earlier in May, the company said that it has sold more than 1 crore units of Redmi Note 7 series. From these sell records, the popularity of this phone of the company can be clearly estimated.

Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain has informed that more than 2 crore units of the company’s mid-range Redmi Note 7 series have been sold worldwide.

Xiaomi said that more than 50 lakh smartphones of this series have been sold only in India and thus this series has become one of the company’s most successful smartphone series.

If you talk about the Redmi Note 7 series, then this series includes Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7S and Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphones. At the same time, Manu Kumar Jain has given information by tweeting that the company is going to launch a new smartphone in India on 9 October. However, the tweet does not mention the name of the phone. But, it is expected that the company will launch Redmi 8 on this day. At the same time, several reports have revealed that the company is planning to launch its Redmi Note 8 series in India.

Talking about the specifications of Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, this smartphone has been launched on a 6.3-inch IPS LCD dot notch display with 2340 X 1080 pixel resolution, which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. This smartphone has been introduced on Android 9 Pie-based MUI 10 which runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 chipset with October processor.

Talking about the photography segment of Redmi Note 8, this phone supports the quad rear camera. A 48-megapixel primary camera sensor has been given on the back panel of the phone.
