The Board of Control for Cricket in India told about the schedule of the Indian Under 19 World Cup team on Saturday. The BCCI has issued a communiqué informing that Team India will leave for South Africa from Bangalore on 20 December. The Indian team was training at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore for a long time.
Team captain Priyam Garg will talk to the media before leaving for South Africa. The BCCI said that on Sunday, December 15. The captain of the team will be present to talk to the media. He will be accompanied by the team’s head coach Paras Mahambre.
16 Teams Will Participate
This is the 13th edition of the U19 World Cup in which a total of 16 teams will participate this time. All these teams divided into four groups. The top-ranked team and the second-ranked team in each group will qualify for the Super League stage. The Indian team is placed in Group A along with New Zealand, Sri Lanka, and Japan.
