Earthquake in Guatemala: Strong tremors of the quake were felt in the Central American country of Guatemala on Wednesday. According to the National Center for Seismology, its intensity has been measured at 6.1. At the same time, the European Mediterranean Seismology Center (EMSC) said that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 96 kilometres (60 miles). Almost everyone in the area has felt its tremors. So far, there is no news of any damage or casualties. Also, no tsunami warning has been issued.

There was a severe earthquake in 2017
Earlier in 2017, a 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck western Guatemala near the border with Mexico. In which at least five people were killed. Among them was a woman living in San Marcos. On top of which, the wall of his house fell.
He died due to being buried under it. Part of a church was also broken. Under whose rubble had come a homeless person living in San Sebastian Ratlhuelu. Due to this, he had died. Both these places were located near the epicentre of the earthquake.
