Anjali Ryot Killed in Mexico: A travel blogger from Himachal Pradesh was killed in a firing between two drug mafia gangs in Mexico. Anjali Ryot was of Indian origin. She was living in San Jose, California, USA. She had gone from America to Mexico to celebrate her birthday.
Anjali had been working with LinkedIn as a senior site reliability engineer since July. Before this, she had worked at Yahoo. He was fond of travelling. In her Instagram bio, she has described herself as a travel blogger from Himachal Pradesh living in San Jose.
How was Anjali Ryot Killed in Mexico?
Anjali Ryot and her husband Utkarsh Srivastava had gone from California to Mexico on October 22 to celebrate her birthday. According to the Spanish newspaper El Pais, at around 10:30 pm, Anjali and some other people were having dinner on the terrace of La Malecarida restaurant.
At the same time, four men who were armed with rifles started firing. Anjali came under fire and died. A German woman, Jennifer Heinzold, was also killed in the shooting. Along with this, three other tourists from Netherlands and Germany were also injured in this firing. The gangs between whom the firing took place supply drugs in that area.
Anjali’s husband brought the news of death to Anjali’s brother Ashish. Then Ashish informed his family living in India about the end of Anjali. Now the whole family is immersed in mourning. Her brother Ashish has urged the city mayor to expedite bringing back Anjali’s dead body.
Anjali had also come to Mumbai some time ago to do a diploma related to the film industry from California. After completing the course, she went to Himachal and lived with her parents for some time.
Anjali’s father says that his daughter was doing a great job in her job. Apart from this, she was also a travel blogger. He was very fond of travelling everywhere. The same hobby had also taken him to Mexico. But there, she became a victim of firing and lost her life. Anjali’s husband is currently working as a senior manager in Netflix.
