Hong Kong Suspends Flights Connecting India

Given the increasing outbreak of Corona in India, Hong Kong has banned all flights to India till May 3. Sources in the Civil Aviation Ministry said that Hong Kong had suspended air traffic with Pakistan. And the Philippines for the same period. The Hong Kong government decided when 50 passengers arriving in Hong Kong on two flights of Vistara Airlines were found to be Corona positive.

According to the rules issued by Hong Kong, a COVID-19 negative report will have to be shown by RT-PCR check for all passengers up to a maximum of 72 hours before going there. Earlier on Sunday, the Hong Kong government announced the postponement of all flights of Vistara Airlines operating from Mumbai to Hong Kong until May 2. The decision here was taken after three people who arrived on a Mumbai-Hong Kong flight from Vistara were infected with the Coronavirus on Sunday.

Out of these, more than one crore of 26 lakh 53 thousand patients has been completely cured. The recovery rate of patients has come down to 86 per cent.
