A plane malfunctioned during the flight. After this, the pilot either jumped from the plane or fell from a height of about 4000 feet. And he died. Surprisingly, the co-pilot aboard this plane later made an emergency landing, and he suffered only minor injuries.
The 23-year-old pilot Charles Hugh Crooks’s dead body was found after a lengthy investigation from North Carolina, USA. He was flying a small plane. In which 10 people can sit. But there was no passenger in it. There was only one co-pilot with Charles.
The landing gear malfunctioned during the flight. After this, the pilot fell from the plane. Then the co-pilot also got the plane and made an emergency landing at the local airport. The co-pilot was later taken to the hospital for treatment and later discharged.
Now the mystery of Charles’s death is getting deeper. Actually, after hearing a loud sound, a person called the police. After much investigation there, the dead body of Charles was found. It is believed that he may have fallen from the plane or jumped while fixing the fault in the plane. However, he was not wearing a parachute.
Charles’ father, Hugh Crooks, is broken because of this incident. He said that Charles told him recently that he was pleased with his work. Hugh said that the son’s death is also a mystery to him.
Charles’ father said the son had obtained a pilot’s license during college. He was a flight instructor and trained to fly in any condition.
Regarding the incident, Wake County Emergency Management’s operations manager Darshan Patel said he did not know whether Charles jumped off the plane or fell from the aircraft. According to the flight map, the plane was at an altitude of 3,850 feet at the time of the incident.
