America has the world’s best and most state-of-the-art destroyer. Its name is Zumwalt Class Destroyer. America is preparing to put a new hypersonic missile on this destroyer. This hypersonic missile system is Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS). After this missile, the firepower of the Zumwalt class destroyer will increase manifold.
The 15 thousand tonne Zumwalt class warship is generally more significant than the standards set for any destroyer. It is a combination of destroyer and cruiser. It can be called a hybrid of both types of warships. But as soon as a hypersonic missile is installed, its definition will start being completely destroyer, even if it is the US Navy or the world’s defence expert cruiser.

In the beginning, there was criticism of the destroyer.
Initially, when the Zumwalt class destroyers were launched into the sea, there was a lot of criticism at that time. The first reason was that it was expensive. The second reason was about the functioning of the advanced gun system present in it. But it is constantly being upgraded. Under this modernization process, Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) hypersonic missiles are being installed.
Traditional defence and muscle power will be visible on the battlefield
Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) is a non-nuclear strategic hypersonic weapon system. It shoots for a very long distance. Its speed can be around Mach-5, i.e. 6174 kilometres per hour. This missile will make it easier to attack time-sensitive targets. If you want to attack a target in a short time, then there is no better missile system than this.

How many missiles will be taken? A calculation is going on.
The Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) missile system consists of a glide body warhead. It is entirely different in appearance but can also be fired from any warship or submarine. The US Army has currently deployed its ground version. It is not yet decided how many types of Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) hypersonic missiles will be installed in the Zumwalt class.
***NEW ANALYSIS**#China already has ballistic missiles on its cruisers. But they will be out gunned by the #USNavy‘s upgraded Zumwalt Class.
Hypersonic missiles could replace forward 155mm gun turrethttps://t.co/7N4IWUfeSl

The question is whether the 155 mm gun mounted on it will remain or be removed. Two hypersonic missiles can be deployed on this warship without firing the gun. If both the gun mounts are removed, 6 to 8 missiles can be deployed. Lockheed Martin Company says four missiles can be installed by removing one gun. So that even one gun remains and missiles are also deployed.
